I have been having a very nice weekend. Yesterday Betty and I went to the movies. We saw Body of Lies. It was not the best movie I have ever seen. DiCaprio was really good but it was such a complicated plot it was hard to follow....all those Middle Eastern names! We went over to Sportsmans afterward for some wine and cheese. I got home around 6pm and was so full from cheese we did not do dinner. He and I played cards all night...I kicked his ass.
I was pretty busy at work last week which is so good. I have not personally seen the slow down due to the economy in my own business but the spa has been hurting. I guess women will continue to get there hair and nails done as long as they can. A women told me that she knew someone who owned a hair salon during the depression in the 30's and she it never hurt her business. So that is good to hear for me.
Well I am up in order to go to spin class. I sure wish the spa was closer. It's not THAT far away but it is far enough not to want to drive over there. And going to Spin is not "over the top" fun so it's even harder to get motivated. I have to go I ate alot of popcorn yesterday.

After 9/11 the biggest selling item in MaryKay was lipstick. Women needed something to make them feel better, and a new lipstick worked.
Weird. The first thing I think to cut is my makeup. But I would NEVER cut my creams and moisturizers. But I live in Oregon where no makeup is so totally cool! (just not with my scared face!!)
